Kanjivaram Silk Saree

Woven in the looms of Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, this saree is made from pure mulberry silk with a zari border in 22-carat gold thread. The deep temple red is achieved using traditional vegetable dyes, a practice passed down through generations of master weavers in the Pillai community.

The kasavu border — a signature motif of interlocking temple gopurams — runs the full length of the saree. Each piece takes 10–14 days to complete on a handloom.
