Banarasi Silk Saree

From the ancient weaving city of Varanasi, this Banarasi saree is woven on a pit loom using pure katan silk and real silver zari. The midnight indigo ground is adorned with intricate jangla buti — a floral lattice pattern that has been a hallmark of Mughal-era textile art for over 400 years.

Each saree is the work of a single weaver family, taking 3–4 weeks to complete. No two pieces are identical.
