Pochampally Ikat Saree

Pochampally ikat is one of India’s most technically demanding weaving traditions. Before a single thread is woven, the yarn is resist-dyed in precise patterns — a process called ikat — so that the design emerges naturally as the fabric is woven. This saree, in saffron and ivory, features the signature geometric diamond motif of the Bhoodan Pochampally region of Telangana.

GI-tagged and handwoven on a traditional pit loom by artisans who have practised this craft for generations.
